Poem for Ephemeral Moments

Venue : SOLUNA FINE ART, 52 Sai St. Sheung Wan, Hong Kong

Date : 2025.09.25 - 10.04

Artists : Yaerin Pyun

Ceramist Yaerin transforms fragments of the natural world—stones, moss, flowers, and snow-covered surfaces—into ceramic works that are both grounded and ethereal. She captures the forms of rocks shaped by erosion, compression, solidification, and weathering, all while preserving the fleeting, delicate essence of organic life. And her work becomes a living archive, safeguarding remembered landscapes, myths, and histories.

Blending clay with a variety of natural minerals, PYUN creates her own landscapes—quiet, surreal spaces that evoke wonder. Her works feel simultaneously ancient and otherworldly, offering a tactile poetry that transcends the everyday. Each piece becomes an expression of material itself, inviting viewers into a richly textured, imaginative terrain.
